By plane: the modern and efficient airports of Brindisi and Bari offer direct flights in Italy and connections with the rest of Europe with over a dozen airlines serving more than 25 airports across Europe (UK, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Belgium, Spain and The Netherlands).
By train: Brindisi, Bari, Ostuni train stations are well and directly connected with important hubs such as Rome, Milan and Bologna, from where you can easily reach other destinations in Italy and Europe. Several departures by fast trains are available during the day, and more regional trains as well.
By car: the main highway connecting Apulia to the centre and north of Italy ends in Bari. From here, you have a very good secondary highway connection that continues down to Ostuni, Brindisi and the Salento Area. The smaller towns of the destination are usually connected with secondary and dual carriageway roads, that usually cross the Apulian countryside.
Apulia is the perfect destination for enjoying the seaside and countryside at a short distance.

Spring usually comes early (beginning of March) and is generally warm and sunny, with clear skies and little rain.
Summer lasts from early May to the end of September and is hot and dry. Temperatures typically rise up to 40°C in July and August.
Autumn usually starts at the end of October. It is generally warm and gets colder only at the beginning of December, with an increase in rainy days.
Winter is usually mild, with average temperatures around 13°C. January and February are usually the coldest months, with the highest likelihood of rain.
